Inspiration...

There is fabric which , so dass man nicht frieren muss.

I think distressed jeans is a must-have piece in every wardrobe. You can wear it anytime in the whole year whether in spring or in cold winter. Meanwhile there is distressed jeans which you can wear in winter. There is extra fabric which placed under the distressed area. That's a really great idea, so you don't have to worry being cold! There are many kinds of distressed jeans, from skinny to the newly hype girlfriend jeans. I personally like boyfriend style so much. In a cold weather I combine it with booties. Wear it with high heels, then it gives you a chic look. I love this kind of look, chic but still casual.

Pecel is one of my fav indonesian food. When I was still at home, I ate pecel almost every morning before I went to school. Pecel is a common food for breakfast in Indonesia. Pecel is the name of this dish and sayur means vegetables. I just love everything that is made from peanuts. If you're not at your homeland, it's not easy not to miss what you had before, your family, friends, home, etc. Besides my family I often miss indonesian food. Fortunately I can cook most of them now by myself. It's not easy to find some of the ingredients here in Germany, for example Kencur (sand ginger). After a pretty long search I could finally find it on Toko Indonesia. Pecel doesn't taste good without the sand ginger. So don't try to skip it, haha... If you don't have the fresh one, you can use dried one as well. Usually you can find it also as powder.
Happy cooking!

Zutaten:

Erdnusssoße:
200 gr     Erdnüsse mit Schale
30-40 gr  Palmzucker
1/2 TL    Tamarindenpaste
2            Pepperoni
1            Knoblauch
6 Stück   Limettenblätter
2 cm      Kencur (Gewürzlilie)
Salz

Gemüse*:
Sojasprossen
Choy sum
Kangkung
Schlangenbohnen

Ingredients:

Peanut sauce:
200 gr     peanuts with skin
30-40 gr  palm sugar
1/2 TL    tamarind paste
2            hot peppers
1            garlic
6 Stück   lime leaves
2 cm      Kencur (sand ginger)
Salt

Vegetables*:
Soy sprouts
Choy sum
Kangkung
Yardlong beans

*You can also use other asian vegetables, but those vegetables mentioned above are commonly used for this dish.

How to prepare:

Roast peanuts with a little bit of oil in a pan until they're cooked (gold brown). Add garlic and hot peppers.

Put all the ingredients in a large measuring jug and purée them using a hand blender. Add a bit of water if it is too solid.

If everything is well mixed, take 2 spoons (for 2 persons) of the paste into a small bowl. Add about 2-3 spoons of hot water. You can put the rest of the paste in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

Wash the veggies, put them in a bowl and add hot water. Leave them for 10 minutes. Drain the water.

Put rice on a plate, then the veggies on it and sprinkle it with the peanut sauce. Serve it with Rempeyek Kacang (crunchy peanuts chips). I'll post the recipe soon.
