Gift Guide for Her

Christmas is just around the corner! Have you already shopped your christmas gifts for your loved ones? Today I'll share with you an idea what kind of gift you can give to your girlfriend, wife, mother or sister.

Cashmere knit

Who doesn't love a good quality cashmere knit? It keeps you warm during the winter time. I love the feeling when I'm wearing a cashmere knit, it doesn't just warm me up but the material feels so good on the skin. Cashmere knit would be on the top of my list this year ^^

Wool scarf

A nice wool scarf is a perfect accessories for the cold season. I wear a wool scarf just not during winter time, but also for fall or even for spring time. Combine it with a leather jacket and you're ready to go.

 Warm shoes

As we all know, ladies have always a problem with cold feet. So, your girlfriend, wife, sister or mom would be thankful if you get her nice warm slippers.

Handbag

I've been eyeing the Saint Laurent monogram handbag since summer. I just love this handbag, the details are just beautiful, the gold hardware goes so well with the nude color. The tassel makes it perfect. Well, you don't have to buy her a luxury handbag. There are many other designer handbags which are affordable.

 Jewelry

You can never go wrong with jewelry! Every woman loves jewelry, just find out what they like. I like to wear a nice pair of earrings, so for me are earrings are the best option.

Make Up

Make up is always the best choice for almost every girl. In my opinion a perfume or a lipstick are the best items for christmas gift.

Home Accessories

Another great option for a christmas gift is decoration for home. Scented candles are the best for winter time. I love it when I enter my apartment and it smells so good.
Look how cute is the mini zebra tray. It's def an eye catcher for the home and it's good to store rings or earrings.

Rice Terraces in Jatiluwih, Bali

FOREVER21 - Romper
ZARA - Bag

At the end of September I flew to my hometown to see my family and to celebrate our wedding with my entire family, friends and relatives. If you follow me then you probably know that we married in June and celebrated it here with my husband's family and our friends. I was so happy that my parents could come to Germany and have attended our wedding. So, at my hometown, Malang, we had our traditional wedding, the Javanese wedding to be exactly, because I am a Javanese. After we had our celebration, we flew to Bali with my parents-in-law. Mostly we just stayed at the hotel and went to the beach nearby. We had one day trip to Jatiluwih and Bedugul. It was amazing!!! Today I'm telling you about Jatiluwih, the most beautiful rice terraces in Bali.

Jatiluwih is a must visit on your list during your stay in Bali. It's a village with famous terraced rice paddies nestled in the shadow of Mount Batukaru and located north of the city Tabanan, in Bali’s western region. If you stay in Kuta or nearby, you can reach Jatiluwih by car in about an hour driving. Before entering the rice field area you have to pay a fee and then you can take a walk among the rice terraces which is amazing. There is a tracking route which you can follow or you can just take a short walk and enjoy the beautiful view. I've been there twice now and everytime I get there, I've got mesmerized by the beauty of Jatiluwih. From now on I decided to go there everytime I am in Bali.

Lace Burgundy Skirt

When I saw this burgundy skirt, I was falling in love. Look how pretty it is! The color and the material are just beautiful. Burgundy is my fav color for fall. I love the beautiful lace pattern. I would like to wear it with pumps or booties and combine it with an elegant navy coat. What is your fav item of this outfit?

SHOP SIMILAR LOOK:

A trench coat is a must have piece for spring. I love my dark blue trench coat which I bought from Zara a few years ago. It's a classic piece which you can wear all the time. The bow blouse which I got from H&M is one of my fav piece in my wardrobe. It reminds me of Kate Spade's style. When I saw it hanging in the store, I just knew that I had to get it. I absolutely love it. The material is soft, because it's made from viscose. As you can see, I can't get enough with bow, haha... To make this look vivid, I combine it with my pink bow bag and pink flat shoes.
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Bags for Spring

I can't wait any longer for spring. Sun is shining, the temperature is getting warm and flowers are blooming. But now, the weather isn't nice at all, it's cold and grey. I usually add spring decoration to give the flat spring vibe. The table lamp is just the perfect deco for spring. I love the mint and coral color combo. Have you already decorated your home for spring?

As I promised you on Instagram a loooong time ago (I know it's so awful, I beg you an apologize), here is the recipe of my fav vietnamese noodle salad. If I go to a vietnamese restaurant then I will always order this dish. It tastes so good & fresh, it is also healthy. I like the combination of the fried springrolls, peanuts & the fresh herbs. It is a taste explosion of the utmost kind.

ZUTATEN:

FRITTIERTE FRÜHLINGSROLLEN:

100gr  Glasnudeln
2         getrocknete Mu-Err-Pilze (im Asia Laden erhältlich)
6-8      Reispapier
1         Zwiebel
1         Ei
Salz & Pfeffer
* Zusätzlich kann man in dünne Streifen geschnittene Karotte dazugeben.

NUDELSALAT:

200gr  Reisnudeln
100gr  Garnelen
1 Zehe Knoblauch
1/4       Limette
2 EL    Fischsoße
1          Chili
3          Frühlingszwiebeln
Eine handvoll Erdnüsse
Eine kleiner Bund Koriander & Minze
Sojasoße
Kecap manis (indonesische süße Sojasoße)

ZUBEREITUNG:

HOW TO MAKE:

FRIED SPRING ROLLS:

Soak the mushrooms in the hot water for about 10 minutes. Also soak the glass noodles in another bowl.

Slice the mushrooms into thin stripes and add them to the noodles. Beat the egg, cut the onion into small cubes and add them all to the noodles.

Seasoning it with salt and pepper. Mix it all well.

Fill a deep plate with warm water. Put a rice paper in it and let it getting soft. Take it out and place it on a flat plate. Place some noodles in the middle and roll it carefully. Repeat this step until the noodles are used up.

Preheat oil in a pan. Fry them until gold brown.

NOODLE SALAD:

Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions. Wash the herbs and shake them dry. Put them aside.

Wash the shrimps and dry them with the paper towel. Chop the garlic.

Preheat oil in a pan and fry the garlic. Add the shrimps.

Season it with soy sauce, kecap manis & pepper.

Put the fish sauce in a small bowl, then add the lime juice and chilli. Mix it all well.

Slice the spring onions and fry them in the pan which you used to cook the shrimps. Season it with soy sauce.

Chop the peanuts.

Place some of noodles on a deep plate. Sprinkle it with the sauce.
Cut the spring rolls into bite-sized pieces and put it on a side of the plate. Put the shrimps on the other side and spread the herbs. At last, sprinkle the spring onions and peanuts on the noodles.

Serve it warm for the best taste...
